I read all genres and categories. However, I have a soft spot for certain kind of books (learn more). Books rated over 4 stars are posted on the Recommendations page and all opinions on the Review page.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We may collect personal data from site visitors in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when they visit our site, subscribe to receive notices of new blog posts via email, subscribe to a post’s comments, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities or services we make available on our site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, and/or email address.
We will collect personal data from site visitors only if they voluntarily submit such information to us, such as by submitting a comment to a post, filling out a contact form, or entering a giveaway. Users may visit our site anonymously, and can always refuse to supply personally identification information, with the understanding that it may prevent them from engaging in certain site related activities, such as, but not limited to, commenting on blog posts and entering giveaways.
Giveaways require us to collect a certain amount of data from you so that we may contact you if you win. We will only request a mailing address from you if you win so that we can send you your prize. Giveaways are typically done via Rafflecopter so you would need to consult their privacy policy to see how they deal with personal data. You are not required to enter any giveaways and should only do so if you are comfortable providing the personal information that a Rafflecopter form may required, such as, but not limited to, your name and email address [see other giveaways policies here]
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
When you leave a comment on this site, your name, email, and IP address will be collected and stored on this site managed with WordPress (.org). Your name/username will be shown publicly, but the email and IP address are not. If at any point you wish to have a comment removed, you can contact us.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
If you submit a contact form to the site, your name, email address, and IP address as part of the form submission process, as well as any other personal information that you voluntarily put in the form. This information is only used in order to reply to your inquiry.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

For example, if you win a giveaway we may share your mailing address. All of this will be made clear before you enter a giveaway.
We may also share generic demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users (for example, the number of unique visitors we get per month) with our business partners and trusted affiliates for the purposes outlined above. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

GIVEAWAYS POLICY
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
Giveaways are automatically void where prohibited by law.
In regulation with the new FTC guidelines the only MANDATORY entry for a giveaway will be a “free” entry. All other entries are completely OPTIONAL.
Unless otherwise specified, giveaway winners will be chosen among the pool of qualified entrants completely at random and without prejudice. Number of eligible entries will determine odds of winning.
The sponsor (if there is one) chooses which countries they are willing to ship to.
Winners will be notified via e-mail. If I don’t receive a response within three (3) business days, another winner will be selected instead.
Upon acceptance by email, winner acknowledges that we may use his or her first name and/or user-name along with town/state on the blog in an announcement that the giveaway has ended.
There is no cash equivalent or exchange for prizes
I reserve the right to cancel a giveaway at any time. Terms of any giveaway also may be subject to change at any moment’s notice.
Must enter the giveaway in the manner specified
I am not responsible for the US postal system and for lost/damaged items.
All entries WILL be verified, and I retain the right to disqualify anyone if an entry is proven false.
If I am hosting a giveaway for a publisher or author (it will be stated very explicitly in the giveaway details) I do NOT have any control over blog tour giveaways run by tour hosts.
By entering, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release, defend and hold me harmless from and against any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy arising from or in connection with participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, possession and/or use of a prize (if selected as a winner).
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) electronic transmissions or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, misdirected or not received for any reason; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing entries, or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; (iii) any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the giveaway or in the announcement of the prize winners; or (iv) cheating or fraud by any entrant.
